Product Description

Cricket Protein Powder 200g

Circle Harvest Protein Powder has been specially farmed to provide a fantastic source of environmentally sustainable, digestible protein.

100% Aussie farmed Crickets from the Circle Harvest farm in Western Sydney, Australia’s first edible insect farm. They developed special techniques to make sure that all of the insects supplied comply with the same standards as anything else you would purchase in the supermarket

The crickets are fed on a diet of fruit and vegetable waste that is saved from farm and food production processing facilities. The fruit & vegetables were destined for landfill and was circled back by feeding it to the mini livestock.

We do not recommend eating insects that you have caught yourself because they may be contaminated with chemicals or parasites. The process of collecting insects to eat isn’t a sustainable practice.

This product comes in a resealable stand up pouch with 10 x 20g serves.

Each 20g serve of cricket powder contains over 13g of digestible protein as well as calcium (220mg), iron (10.2mg), magnesium (118mg), potassium (1190mg), zinc (22.1mg) and lots of B12 and B2 Vitamins and 3 times the amount of Omega 3 as salmon. It also has no added salt and no added sugar.

Including protein in your diet can not only help you maintain a healthy weight, but it also works to manage hunger, stabilise your blood sugar levels, improve your ability to concentrate, repair and build muscle tissue.

Cricket powder can be used in many different ways and has a consistency similar to pea protein.  It has a mild nutty flavour but will absorb the flavours around it so can be used in sweet or savoury recipes.
